Carlo Nason: Enlightened mid-century modern lighting designer.

#CarloNason (born 1935) still practices his art in Murano in Italy. He is responsible for some beautiful #midcentury #vintagelighting These days he is notoriously reclusive and shies away from the limelight to concentrate on his work. His lighting designs are renowned for their simplicity and clean lines and he developed his style whilst working in collaboration with Studio Mazzega A.V. in the 1970’s and 1980’s. He is best know for his Murano disc light and layered glass lighting sculptures.
